Buying and Selecting Custom Wheels, Custom Rims
September 26, 2007 on 5:12 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsSelecting custom rims can be a personalized experience just like selecting you car, expensive jewelry, or clothing fashions. You can personalized your vehicle by selecting from various designs in shiny chrome wheels, sleek and low key black wheels, regal and sporty silver wheels, or customized luxury 3 piece wheels, and of course your eye catching spinning rims. You can plus size you wheels by going with bigger wheel and tire sizes than your factory wheels, like 17 inch rims, 18 inch rims, 20 inch rims, 22 inch rims car wheels. For trucks chose from 20 inch rims, 22 inch rims, 23 inch rims, 24 inch rims, or 26 inch rims. When selecting custom rims for you vehicle keep in mind a few tips; work within your budget, style preference over brand name preference in most case, confirm questions with trained professionals at companies like Luxury Custom Wheels, LLC, and save money by shopping online with trusted sites like at www.chromespinners.com. Upon purchase, keep wheels clean with simple soap and water (see How to Clean My Wheels Blog) and call your auto insurance company to see if they are covered by theft protection or attempted theft. Custom Rims can give you what you want and more!
Custom Rims Add True Value to Your Car or Truck
September 26, 2007 on 5:05 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsHave you ever noticed how a set of custom rims can make a car look so much better? That’s because it’s true. Custom Rims add a flare, an amazing glare, and an eye popping stare. But did you know that custom rims also increase the value of your car, SUV or Truck. Adding custom rims or custom wheels (same thing) increases the resale and trade value of a vehicle. It’s one of the few additions you can make on a car or truck that increases the value after you buy it. So if custom rims make your vehicle look better and worth more, what else could be a better investment for your vehicle?

The Magnum sold 26% better this past August compared to a year ago—good news for the air intake, exhaust and lighting companies that make parts specific to this muscle wagon. Best Way to Clean My Rims
July 4, 2007 on 5:38 pm | In Uncategorized | 2 CommentsCustom wheel owners are often curious as to the best way to clean their wheels. Let’s be real, if you spend thousands of dollars on anything, you are going to want to upkeep that item. Here at Luxury Custom Wheels, LLC, we recommend you use a mild soap and warm water to clean your custom wheels. A mild soap could be a dish detergent (ex. Palmolive). We do not recommend you use spray wheel cleaners that you can buy or go through car washes that use steam cleaners, strong chemicals, and wheel cleaning machines. As a matter of fact, drive through car washes at gas stations are never recommended for use if you have aftermarket wheels. A specialty car wash place or hand car wash place is typically fine for use. It’s aways best to ask questions upfront if you are unsure what the shop uses. What is ok to spray on your wheels, is vinegar and water for a quick clean and shine. It’s also, generally ok to use a non abrasive wax or cream on chrome wheels and polishing cleaner on polished wheels. You should clean your wheels once to twice a week as brake dust and dirt can cause surface corrosion. Finally, always use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe away excess moisture.
